$65

The Disston Saw Company arguably helped form the industrial giant the United States became after the Civil War.In a time where craftsmen were very particular about what they carried, Disston was considered the standard in hand- cutting tools
The D-12 was in the top tier of Disston models; w/ an Applewood handle &/nickle plated brass screws securing a 26" blade, this saw was offically referred to as D-12 London Lightweight, in reference to the fine quality of its blade (it "sings"when passed through the air..)
This saw is in good condition w/ no missing teeth and THE HANDLE IS PRISTINE.
On the blade, still visible, is Henry Disston's warranty for this top-of-the line model, "For Beauty, Finish And Utility , This Saw Cannot Be Equalled"
There are no current American saw manufacturers that can match the
quality of these saws, especially in the blade.Fully restored models are highly prized by collectors and woodworking craftsmen and can easily command 3 times my price.
