Freya American Shorthair Adult Female for sale in Orlando, Florida

Freya's story
In Norse mythology, Freya is a striking goddess associated with love, beauty and above all - loyalty. This description is incredibly fitting for this orange and white beauty.
While only 2 years old, Freya has already experienced more than some cats do in a lifetime. Shes held her own on the rough and tough streets as an adolescent, given birth to a healthy litter of kittens (thankfully, this pretty girl is now spayed!), and as the strong independent female feline she is, shes survived unfortunate episodes of animal cruelty and come out on the other side with medals of valor and courage. Shes as brave as a Suffragette, as strong as Rosie the Riveter, as wise as Maya Angelou, and as fiercely independent as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Shes shy at first - shes been through a lot in her short 2 years of life - but once she realizes she can trust you, she blossoms out of her shell and will be more loyal to you than any other cat in history (yes, that includes the last famous Freya feline - family pet to Chancellor of the United Kingdom, George Osborne). You see, thats the best part of living with a shy cat. Once youve won their loyalty, you realize its been the greatest conquest of your life and you have a friend that will stand by you and defend you for the rest of your days. Shell be the Gayle King to your Oprah Winfrey. The Dwight Schrute to your Michael Scott. The Tina Fey to your Amy Poehler. Though, shell leave the stand-up comedy to you - shes more of a behind the scenes gal. A stage manager, really.
Freya has spent the last 8 months in her foster home learning to trust humans again. Learning that not all people bring harm and cruelty. Learning that its okay to love and let someone love her. Will you be the person to let Freya love you forever?

Does very well with other cats. In fact, we prefer she goes to a home with at least one other cat for her to play with! She's fine with dogs - she doesn't pay much attention to them.
Loves to play with string and ribbon toys - she's a GREAT hunter!
